The December 2023 edition of the IMPHORAA Newsletter is now available to read online.
The newsletter brings together the latest happenings in this transformative project, including personal stories from those who are benefitting from the work.
You can find out how solar-based electrification has brought about positive change in Port Silanguin in The Philippines, allowing people to socialise and operate their businesses after dark, letting children study into the evening as well as offering additional benefits such as improved food preservation.
The newsletter also provides an insight into how IMPHORAA has delivered clean water solutions and water pump controllers to villages in Madagascar while also empowering local entrepreneurs to provide lighting, cooling, and mobile phone charging to off-grid communities.
There are also details of how the project team have been working alongside the environment to ensure the rich cultural heritage of these off-grid communities and the diverse wildlife is not negatively impacted.
